What does it feel like?
When a current is applied the client will feel a slight pinch and heat, some compare sensations with other depilatory methods and others feel almost nothing at all. Topical numbing creams are always recommended for sensitive clients.
What causes excess hair growth?
Endocrine dysfunctions, PCOS, stress, medications, normal biological changes such as puberty and menopause are factors. Also specific Vitamins and medications can create hair growth. Another factor is the stimulation of blood supply on the area of hair growth. Tweezing and waxing are responsible for this.
How do you get faster results?
Stay consistent with scheduled appointments and do NOT tweeze or wax, shaving is permitted between appointments. Also taking the time to keep your skin clean and moisturized is important.
How many visits until you are hair free?
After an initial consultation and a discussion on your hair history we can begin to determine the amount of time and commitment this process will take. Each client is different and many factors must be explained along with your hair growth cycles and the optimized appointment scheduling for your body specifically.
What to expect before arriving to your first treatment?
Avoid waxing, tweezing and shaving at least a week or two before the appointment, let the hair you want worked on to grow out. Avoid caffeine and drink plenty of water prior to the appointment and always arrive 10 minutes before the appointment. After you begin the process of electrolysis DO NOT TWEEZE OR WAX anymore please.
